Jamzo maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. Game jam submissions frequently incorporate third-party assets such as art packs, sound libraries, open-source code, and engine plugins. We recognize that the game development community relies on shared resources, and we will consider the context of game jam submissions when evaluating takedown notices. However, this does not exempt jam submissions from copyright law. If your submission uses third-party assets, ensure you have the appropriate licenses or permissions, and credit them in your submission.
This DMCA Policy applies to copyright infringement claims only. For other intellectual property concerns (such as trademark disputes), or for reports of content that violates our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service for reasons other than copyright infringement, please contact us at [email protected].
Jamzo is not in a position to adjudicate copyright disputes between parties. Our role is limited to processing valid DMCA notices and counter-notifications in accordance with the statute.
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
